Triangle Army
Triangle Army develops a flexible wood-strip space frame using hexagonal geometry inspired by Shigeru Ban's Central Pompidou-Metz and Nine Bridges Country Club projects. The system employs wooden strips connected with screws and hooks, creating a modular grid that can transform through bending or cutting to generate varied architectural forms. Testing revealed that the hexagonal configuration provides superior structural rigidity and form-making flexibility compared to alternative geometries, while maintaining material efficiency through member-sharing between adjacent modules.
